Wakilat Coker
Wakilat specializes in helping clients navigate anxiety, low self-esteem, immigration stress, and cultural identity challenges. She's passionate about supporting children, teens, and families facing bullying, ADHD, grief, and loneliness. She also works with individuals from African and Muslim communities to break down mental health stigma and find paths to healing. Growing up in Nigeria before moving to Canada, she has experienced firsthand how mental health can be misunderstood in certain cultures. Her own journey inspired her to create spaces where people feel seen and supported. As a Black Muslim therapist, she helps clients explore how their identities shape their lives, empowering them to face challenges with resilience and confidence.
